At 10 A. M. Mr. Gould, Norbhu and Richardson went to the Cabinet for a business meeting which lasted until 12-30. After that we paid a short visit to the Cathedral, of which the Cabinet Room is an annexe. We met today in a room used by the Dalai Lama when he came to the Cathedral.
We went on to yet another lunch party. This time with Phondong Shape who also is proposing to accompany the Regent to Samye. We did not get away until 5-30 P.M. and fell straightway into another party for we had invited Ringang with relations and friends numbering about 12 to come for tea, a cinema show and dinner.
This was an exceptionally heavy day and we are all getting rather surfeited with entertainments.
