Loling Thupten Tharpa. A monk official. Born in 1913. Also known as Liushar. Made a La-chag (Treasurer) in May, 1938. Promoted to Dzasa and appointed as Monk Secretary of the Foreign Bureau in February, 1948. Appointed Joint Chef of Guides to Chinese officers in Lhasa in August, 1951, and in addition to the duties as monk Secretary of the Foreign Bureau.
