[no.] 50. At the left is Sonam Topden, assistant political officer and assistant to Hugh Richardson. In the middle is an abbot (kempo), formerly the Tibetan trade agent at Gyantse. After retirement he often lived at the retreat of Yerpa outside Lhasa. At the right is Rampa Se.' [KC 10/10/2006]
