A group of Khampa men, probably in Gyantse, whom A. J. Hopkinson states are on pilgrimage to Shigatse [see Notes]. They all carry staffs and carry loads upon their backs. They are standing in front of a mani wall on which a row of painted images can be seen in the upper right of the image
