Hubbu, Captain Dean's orderly and brother of Tami, A. J. Hopkinson's syce cuts Captain Dean's hair on the dak bungalow at Gyantse. Captain Dean wears what were referred to as 'Gilgit boots' reflecting the links that many Trade Agency and related staff had with the North West Frontier
