A group of monks from the Kargyu Monastery in the lower Chumbi Valley on an annual visit to Yatung. The older monks are seen lined up outside the British Trade Agent's house, while three young monks have their portraits taken by A. J. Hopkinson. Some of the Agency staff are standing in the residency porch
