Other Information - Biography: Phunkhang Gonpo Tsering (b.1918) is mentioned in Luciano Petech,'s Aristocracy and Government in Tibet 1728-1959 , Serie Orientale Roma XLV, Roma: Is. M.E.O, 1973 p. 27. He was the eldest son of Phunkhang Tashi Dorje and was bka'-drung in 1938, Gyantse rdzong-dpon in 1939 and married the eldest daughter of the Maharaja of Sikkim in 1940.
