Other Information - Setting: F Spencer Chapman writes in Lhasa: The Holy City , 1940, London: Readers Union Ltd, p.33, "The Phari bungalow is flat-roofed, as are all the buildings here, and faces onto a cobbled courtyard together with the Post Office and the rooms of the Postmaster, ... , and the hut-keeper. ... The Post Office, at 15,000 feet, is supposed to be the highest in the world". [KC 7/12/2005]
