The Kundeling Dzasa. The administrative monk abbot of one of the royal monasteries in Lhasa, Kundeling. As such, he was the Mission's 'landlord' as they were permitted to take residence in the grounds of the Dekyi Lingka which was owned by Kundeling. This image may have been taken in the Dekyi Lingka as one of the tents used by the Mission seems to be evident in the background of this image
