1920 and 1950. The Tibet Album deals with photos taken by British officials who visited Tibet between 1920 and 1950.

Why does the album page numbering skip?

The albums that have been donated to the Pitt Rivers Museum are the personal photo albums of the officials stationed in Tibet. Some of the pages have content that isn't relevent to Tibet, where this is the case those pages have been omitted from this project. We have preserved the page numbering from the original album so that you get a real sense of these albums, their content and their ordering.
