Raja and Rani Taring sitting in front of an appliqué tent. She is wearing the typical, hooped Tsang headdress commonly worn in Gyantse adorned with corals, turquoises and pearls. There is a fine ga'u necklace around her neck and she is wearing a striped apron. He is wearing a fine silk robe and a round hat. They are flanked by their son Chime and their two daughters (possibly Kalden Wangmo or "Goggles" and the other a nun).
