A group of men, women and children on the roof of a building, possibly the Potala, in Lhasa with snow mountains in the background. The women are wearing triangular Lhasa headresses decorated with corals and ear ornaments. They are probably members of the servant class. The men are wearing fur and brocade hats and looking down into the forecourt in the centre of the image.
