Taking tea in the Doring house. Facing the camera from left to right are Dingja (smiling), Doring, and Capt. A.H.O O'Malley, the serving Gyantse medical officer at the time. The windows in the background have window panes with a diamond-shaped pattern and a decorative filigree feature at the top. They also have thin curtains which have been drawn back.
