Technical Information - This Lantern Slide was made by projecting the negative image through an enlarger [MS 20/8/2004]
Notes on print/mount - '22' has been written in blue ink. This slide seems to have been used by Bell as slide 22 in a lantern lecture titled 'The Dalai Lama' [MS 24/8/2004]
Other Information - Related Images: 1998.286.34(1&2) and 1998.286.313 at first appear to be identical images. However, under magnification they were clearly taken a few seconds apart as slight movement is seen in the postures of the people around the gateway [MS 06/03/2006]
