Manual Catalogues - Bell's List of Illustrations entry: "[No. of chapter] XXIV. [Subject of Chapter] Food and Drink [Subject of Illustration] Q91 (u) Shop in Lhasa with owner's daughter. Wooden drinking bowls fruits, etc. for sale. (Pocket Book, July 1921, p. 13). [Where placed - book page] I, 182."
Other Information - Related Images: Although this lantern slide is cross-referenced to Q.264-91, the image is identical to that of Q.91 [MS 24/8/2004]
Notes on print/mount - '24 (v) has been written in black ink. This refers to the section of Bell's List of Illustrations and the appropriate caption for Q.264-91. This marking should therefore be distinguished from other marks on lantern slide surrounds in black or blue-black ink, which seem to refer to a sub-set of the slides made by Bell before the compilation of his List and subsequent sequential numbering system [MS 24/8/2004]
