11th September, Friday, Lhasa.

It was hoped to have a business interview with the Kashag today or tomorrow to discuss military affairs as time is getting short for Neame. But we were informed that according to the Tibetan calendar both days are inauspicious for the conduct of any serious business, so the meeting has been fixed for Sunday.
