In Negative - This is a duplicate negative. The number 'PS250719' has been punched in the right edge of the negative [MS 11/08/2006]
Notes on print/mount - Two contact prints made from the original negative are contained in A. J. Hopkinson's negative case with the negative. The prints were made using Velox paper. On the first, the caption "Another scene in Tsigyu temple showing (l to r) (1) an image of Dorje Phamo (now incarnated in the Abbess of Samding) [note pig rising from her back] (2) Chenrezi, now incarnated in Dalai Lama' has been written on the back in pencil, as has the reference 'F.90'. The other print has the extended caption "A typical temple interior at Gyantse (13200 ft) (some 160 miles from Lhasa) L-R (1) Dorje Phamo (=Precious sow) [whose living incarnation resides at Samding] Note pig arising from her back (2) Chenrezi - now incarnated in Dalai Lama', as well as the references 'F.90' and '298 U' all of which have been written in pencil [MS 11/08/2006]
