A performance of a musical dance drama, Ache Lhamo, in the courtyard of the Norbu Lingka in Lhasa. There are five masked dancers performing and a group of 7 adults and 2 children wearing winged headdresses standing on the sideline on the left. The courtyard is paved with flagstones. An umbrella type awning provides shade for the dancers. The audience is sitting on the ground on the left, under the first-floor gallery in the shade and some are sitting on the first floor gallery.
