Manual Catalogues - Bell's List of Illustrations entry: "[No. of chapter] III. [Subject of Chapter] Mountains, Rivers, Lakes, Climate, Rainfall and Trade Routes. [Subject of illustration] H.45 (v) Norbu Lingka in right middle distance, Dekyi Lingka in left middle distance, our house on extreme left, river in background. [Remarks] L.13"
Other Information - Related Images: Although Bell has related this to H.45/1998.285.147, they are in fact different images and the lantern slide is neither a reduction nor a contact image from print H.45. In the lantern slide a stone wall can be seen on the lower left of the image, which is not seen in the negative glass plate [MS 18/8/2004]
Notes on print/mount - '24' has been marked on the surround in blue-black ink, then crossed out in red, with '13' written in red alongside. The blue-black ink numbers seem to relate to a sub-set of the lantern slides which were used for lantern lectures on 'A Year in Lhasa' and 'The Dalai Lama' [MS 19/8/2004]
