We have had two quiet days devoted to office work and correspondence, except for Richardson who has been returning the calls of a number of officials. It is interesting to note that quite a number of them have told him how anxious they are to learn English. Some are trying to learn from English primers and others from an English, speaking babu in the bazaar.
